Your Words, Our Pride
We LOVED our experience at the Sebato Mud Pool! It was one of the most relaxing and unique things we’ve ever done. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They explained everything so well and made us feel completely comfortable the whole time.Covering ourselves in warm mud and soaking in the natural hot springs was not only fun, but surprisingly soothing. The setting is peaceful and beautiful, and we learned a lot about the cultural and healing aspects of the mud pools. Afterward, we got massages that were absolutely amazing – the perfect way to end the experience. This was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Fiji. We left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and grateful. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!
This place was absolutely phenomenal. There was a woman who followed my friend and I around and took so many photos and videos for us. She had us pose all around and truly put the work in. The experience overall was one of the most relaxing. It was a super cool experience and I couldn’t recommend it more. While the mud dries, you’re shown local crafts and I think that is such a great business model. I definitely bought some gifts there. After going through all of the pools i got a massage… SO GOOD!!!! The women were fantastic and it was so so good. Definitely stop here on your journeys. There were also some super cute puppies.
A truly worthwhile experience at a locally owned gem.I made the drive myself—just a heads up, there’s about 4 km of off-road path between villages, so be prepared for a bit of an adventure.Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by Anni, who took wonderful care of me throughout the visit. She gave me a tour, made sure I was comfortable, and even captured plenty of great photos for me.I opted for the full package, which included the mud pool and a deeply relaxing one-hour body massage. I also rented a towel on-site, which was super convenient. To top it all off, I enjoyed a refreshing fresh coconut before heading out. There’s ample parking available, which is great .One thing I really appreciated is that the mud pool doesn’t have that overpowering sulfur smell often associated with hot springs.A small suggestion for the owners: adding some jet water features to the pools would be an amazing bonus!
We had a 10-hour layover in Nadi, so we decided to make the most of it with a quick little adventure — and it turned out to be one of the most relaxing things we could’ve done.We grabbed a taxi from Nadi Market in the downtown area and headed to the mud pools. The round trip — including 90 minutes at the pools and a ride back to the airport — cost us $80. It felt a bit pricey, but the driver waited for us the entire time, so honestly, it wasn’t a bad deal. (Tip: try to negotiate a little — prices can vary.)We were greeted by a warm and friendly local auntie who guided us through the whole experience. First, we changed into our swimsuits (that’s all you really need to bring), then lathered ourselves in thick, warm mud — such a fun and strange feeling! After that, we moved through a series of hot pools to wash off and relax. After hours of travel, soaking in those pools felt amazing. The place was totally empty when we arrived around 10:00 AM, so we had the whole area to ourselves. Super peaceful.I also treated myself to a 30-minute massage for $40. Let me just say — the lady who did it had magic hands. Strong, big hands that somehow made everything feel both powerful and gentle at the same time. One of the best massages I’ve had in a long time! while I enjoyed massage, my kids were still enjoying hot pool or relaxing with ipad.We ended up staying for about 90 mins. The entrance fee was $30 per person, and towels were available for $5 if you didn’t bring one. Honestly, for how relaxing and private it was, the whole experience felt like a hidden gem.If you ever have a long stopover in Nadi, this is so worth doing.
This was a lot of fun & a get way to spend an hour or so the first pool is a bit rough on your feet but once you get into the next 1 your stresses are all drifted away then finish it off with an relaxing massage..lonely
If you’re visiting Fiji, Sabeto Hot Springs and Mud Pool is an absolute must! The experience was incredibly relaxing from start to finish. The mud pool is therapeutic and fun, and it’s honestly the perfect way to unwind and soak in the natural beauty of the area. Smearing the warm mud all over your skin and then rinsing off in the hot spring water felt both rejuvenating and refreshing. What really stood out was the massage after the soak—it was one of the best I’ve had! The staff are friendly, professional, and genuinely care about making sure you’re comfortable and relaxed. It’s a peaceful, authentic experience you won’t find at a typical spa.Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to de-stress and try something unique in Fiji. Don’t miss it!
This was a very different and clean(:P) experience. Our guide Lizzie was amazing. She was with us all through , helped us with the process and pictures and made it very special and eventful. We went during March 2025(15th ish) time frame and the crowd was minimal . Over all we had fun as family and the environment was very friendly and yes , do visit if you dont mind some dirt on you!
Great experience to be covered in mud and enjoy local hospitality from handicraft stores.Fun day out
Locally owned business that is worth every penny.I drove there myself, be prepared to drive a rough 4 km off road between villages.I was greeted by Anni, she took care of me and showed me around and took plenty of photos.I did the mud pool and one hour of body massage (full package) I also rented a towel from them which makes life easier.I enjoyed a cool fresh coconut at the end before I leave. There are many parking spots in case you are driving.I ll leave a photo of the prices, they are affordable. The mud pool doesn't have the strong sulfa odor that is familiar with such hot springs. For the owner(s), I wish they had some jet water in their pools, it will be a great bonus.
40FJD per person. The road is gravel but any car can make it.The tickets are bought right there. No need to be in a tour group. And it is easy to find it on Google. Just drive a couple km past the giant gardensThere is a toilet and a changing room. You keep your bag on the table in an open space where a local woman watches it.There is a guide showing you where to go and what to do first and next (no extra charge, just tip if you like).First you go to the mud area where you cover yourself with mud then go to another place to dry it then to the pool to wash off after that hot springs. There are two hot pools. You can spend as much time as you want (just know it is not recommended to spend more than 10min in the hot pool, you need to have breaks)There is also massage service if you want. Extra charge. The view is magnificent! We were there when it was pouring down and it was amazing as they have covered zonesThere is nothing to eat there. Bring your own snacks if you want.
I absolutely ADORED my time at the Sabeto hot springs! Highly recommended to everyone who wants to escape for a couple of hours. Runs as a family business, staff is trained and super friendly, Liti guided us though the whole process and took plenty of pictures for us to remember this extraordinary experience.Plus it was my birthday and Liti surprised me with the whole staff singing me Happy Birthday! I will forever remember my time here, thanks again!! ♥️
Absolutely fantastic experience at the Sabeto Hot Springs and Mud Pools! From the start, the friendly staff made us feel welcome and guided us through each step. Covering ourselves in mud was such a unique and fun experience, and rinsing off in the thermal pools afterward was incredibly relaxing. The natural surroundings were beautiful, adding to the serene and rejuvenating vibe. We left feeling refreshed and so glad we visited. A must-do if you’re looking for a mix of adventure and relaxation!
Was a very unique experience! Came here after hiking up the lookout for the Sleeping Giant. Buna was nice, helpful, and very friendly. She took pics for everyone as we were covered in mud and walking around. A very unique experience. Would also recommend doing the Fijian massage after the mud bath. It was nice to see that locals also come to this place.
